I wanted my drawing to capture that unique tranquility of the night, with the moon softly illuminating a deep blue sky filled with stars peeking through the clouds, while the city sleeps in silence. You can feel that peace that only the night can bring.

Now I'm going to show you step by step.

To create this drawing, I used the ibis paint app.

To create this piece, I chose a 1440x3200 HD canvas.

After creating it, I searched for the perfect midnight blue for the background.

Next, I hid that layer and sketched stripes to form the buildings.

I painted the buildings in the foreground light blue and gray, and those in the background dark blue to add depth and shadows.

To make them more realistic, I added texture with stripes, simulating a ceramic effect that stylizes them.

For the clouds, I used an ibis Paint brush that creates realistic effects, applying a light blue that contrasts with the background, positioning them so that they stand out above the city.

I then added darker tones to the clouds to create contrast and depth. Next, I painted the stars, first on the clouds and then small dots that bring the sky to life.

I made the moon with a white circle, and using a soft gray watercolor brush, I gave it texture with subtle touches. I added white sparkles to simulate its radiant glow. All of this reflects my inspiration: calm amid the urban hustle and bustle.

And so it was that this work was created under a blanket of deep blue tones, as the night unfolds calmly and serenely. The moon, bright and majestic, casts its soft light over the silent city, where buildings seem to sleep under a starry sky. Among faint clouds that drift slowly by, the stars twinkle with delicate hope, reminding us that in the darkness there is always light. 🌙✨
