fiftywords stories: Weekend 5
The Enemy watched from the darkness, at the center of the universe, the struggle over. The last of the Ancient Ones, who once wove the fabric of reality itself, lay dead.
Like tentacles spreading, he explored the universe and discovered it full of beautiful, oblivious life. He began to salivate.
