🥇 My Day in Lucca Among Medieval Structures by sararossi@sararossi

I have been to the city of Lucca before, but every time I come I always find new things to see and admire. We started our journey from Florence. The entire train journey from here to Lucca takes about an hour and a half. There is a tremendous amount of medieval detail in Lucca. The thing is, everything here was booming and growing back then. Lucca built its wealth on trade, banking and diplomacy. There are amazing Renaissance walls here, but Lucca never used them for their intended purpose. It was a message. We are ready for defense, but we prefer diplomacy. And of course, this was one of the pilgrimage centers.

🥈 My Visit to the Architecture Festival in Logroño - Spain by larissalugo@larissalugo

Hi friends. I wanted to tell you about an international architecture festival called Concéntrico in Logroño that I attended last month. I had wanted to come here for a very long time because the question of how an international event can be created in a city of only 150 thousand people has always interested me greatly. The distinguishing feature of this format is that the city itself turns into an exhibition space. There are more than 20 installations in different spots. And among those who made these installations are world famous international experts.

🥉 Fairy Tales Between Timber Frames and Rocks 🚎 Märchen zwischen Fachwerk und Felsen (en/de) #65 by vanje@vanje

Originally, I had chosen Paderborn as my general destination. However, I wanted to avoid larger towns and cities whenever possible. My motorhome stopover guide suggested Medebach as the next stop along my route. Free of charge and offering basic facilities, it sounded quite promising.

When I arrived, there was only one other motorhome on the site, and the surrounding area was a construction zone. Not exactly inviting, but after almost seven hours of leisurely driving along Germany's back roads, I simply didn't feel like continuing. So, I stayed.
