Close Encounters w/ Avalanche
We were waiting in line for them lift at 930am on Saturday when all of a sudden all the lifts stopped running. After 5 minutes people began leaving the lines and we shortly found out that the entire mountain was closed.
Only later did we finding out the reason was due to an avalanche at the top that partially buried three people.
We were on that exact run the day before in blizzard conditions. Life is short!
