  The LinkedIn of the blockchain world, 4th Pillar seeks to disrupt the way that human resource information is handled and used within industry and commerce. It also allows the easy sharing of authorized, private work-relevant documentation, such as resumes, certifications, degrees, etc. This solves an issue which plagues many employers – application fraud. As the documentation and work history live eternally on an immutable, traceable blockchain, such forgeries can easily follow an applicant, and act as a powerful deterrent against lying about their work history and skills. Similar to how both Uber drivers and passengers have a persistent rating which tracks their performance, it is possible to build a well-vetted, but customized record of a worker’s performance and work history - all while building their future potential. All without employer-specific funds, special payment plans, or complicated stock-savings arrangements.   

  Moreover, 4th Pillar has a working beta, which allows prospective users to get their feet wet using the platform, and to become comfortable with the future of human resources. By making the experience more immediate, accessible, it removes the unnecessary baggage that keeps many departments from realizing their potential. After all, it’s in the name. Human resources are designed to aid the most important resource in the age of industry – human capital.
