Ibadan meet up- A call for increased value creation

Steemit has brought about an avenue to meeting new people around one's community or very far away. Steemit has made people of different nationalities to come together-an example being steemfest. I have been in three meet ups since I joined steemit where I have met wonderful people and have experienced really great moments.

The latest meet up I attended was one which steemians in Ibadan came together for. Just as expected the big guns of Ibadan @tojukaka and @fisteganos were present, the former being the moderator and the later being the producer of refreshments. Beautiful faces with beautiful smiles were all around and being in such environment gave me so much high. It really felt great to have met @mosunomotunde whom I have had a few pleasant conversations with on steemit before then in person. It was also great seeing and meeting the faces behind some of the beautiful,informative and interesting posts I have come across on steemit. It was a day that produced moments that would linger in my memory for long.

The purpose of the meet up was to deliberate and start planning for a bigger meeting which would attract many to join steemit. Apart from making a good number of people to join steemit, the upcoming meeting would also be a preparation and forerunner for the stach hub coming to the city. The hub would be one where steemians in the city get access to electricity and internet so as to create and post good contents of value on steemit. Different steemians who are capable have volunteered to handle different planning aspects which are essential for the meeting to be successful.

Other than planning for the meeting, words of encouragements on creating valuable contents were said by @tojukaka and @akintunde. Their words hammered on creating contents of value to make sure everyone around takes it seriously as success on steemit is mostly based on it.

Overall, it was a great meeting and our discussions and plannings hopefully would bring about a greater meeting to come. It was a great time with familiar faces like @trillex, @iojo, @mistakili just to mention a few
