Photographic scenes that make a difference

One day my wife asked me why I used to take photos of birds on power lines or tree branches. Maybe it had some psychological or emotional meaning in relation to what I might feel when capturing those scenes. But I don't really feel anything emotional about it. Maybe for other people who see these photos, it might have some emotional meaning or significance, but it's simply capturing the aesthetics of those circumstances. For these types of subjects, I generally love to compose with silhouettes of the birds or even a bit of that backlighting in their surroundings. For me, it's simply perfect for photography.

Although not everything in this series is silhouette photos of birds whose species I don't really know, it's also a series that gives meaning to what I capture on the street. Scenes that contrast well and fit perfectly with the subtlety of black and white, as well as their tones and textures, where everything can be harmonious and compressed within the photographic frame. I also include human elements or simply things that can generate their shapes or even the influence of shadows on the scenes.

For me, each of these images is unique in its own right, and although I may have passed by many of these places thousands of times and also, in a certain way, repeatedly captured some of these motifs, they will always be different in some way. I can hardly be so precise in capturing the same thing because many factors influence it, such as the weather, the lighting, and even the position of the sun, which can affect both light and shadow. Therefore, the motifs and scenes change every day.
