Wreckage
It was one of most strenuous and physically challenging adventure I've embarked on. It was only my 2nd day in Nepal, I've arrived on the day of the potato festival (Maghe Sankranti). It was my first day of volunteer work with All Hands. I've only met everyone on base once, and we rounded a total of 13 people to go on an impromptu last minute camping trip. We hiked from Timbu, 1637 meters, straight uphill to Melamchiguan, 2591 meters with our backpacks + sleeping bag.
This is one of the many ruined temples along the way. I felt bittersweet towards the incredible powers of what Mother Earth can do.
