Flowers and fresh green leaves from plants grown with one's own hands transform the entire atmosphere of the home. Vegetables bought from the market often contain various chemicals or adulterants; however, there is a unique joy in harvesting eggplants and greens straight from one's own garden and cooking them immediately. Dedicating time—watering the plants every morning or afternoon and tending to them—evokes a truly delightful feeling.
