My 2023 lessons learnt
Greetings to my cherished Hive Ghana family! I'm thrilled to share the valuable lessons I've gleaned in 2023. Hive Ghana has provided a wonderful platform for us to exchange thoughts, and I encourage everyone to contribute to the greatness of our community.
The journey of 2023 has been a rollercoaster of highs and lows, unveiling profound insights into accomplishing dreams. Attaining my first degree in computer science was a significant milestone, accompanied by challenges under the strict supervision of my mentor. My final year on campus bestowed enduring lessons that I will forever carry with me.
In the pursuit of success, challenges are inevitable. Navigating through hardships, I faced struggles, sweat, and tears before realizing my dream of university graduation. Despite the academic tribulations, my spirit resisted surrender, leading to the triumphant achievement of a second-class upper degree. While I may not have been the best, I certainly wasn't among the worst.
As a recent graduate, another crucial lesson echoes in my mind—think with your brain, not your heart. Life in the familial cocoon was comfortable, sustained by my parents' modest means. However, the shift from student life to the real world prompted a reevaluation of my mindset and daily routine. It's time to break free from the comfort zone and pave the way for personal growth.
Moreover, 2023 impressed upon me the importance of preparing for marriage. Understanding that our time on Earth is uncertain, I acknowledge the responsibility to contribute to the continuity of my lineage. Bearing children becomes a key to preserving the legacy of generations.
In conclusion, I extend my gratitude for taking the time to delve into the lessons that 2023 has engraved on my journey. Until we meet again, farewell!
