Types Of Drivers: Congested Traffic

I am lucky if my weekly commute to work is consistent at 30 minutes one way. Now, I have been driving for over 15 years and in those years, I noticed there different types of drivers. Of the drivers
that I’ve encountered, there are several who contribute to an annoying traffic jam. Let me know if you agree.

1. The Lane Changer: This person changes lane every opportunity he or she gets hoping to move a little further in a shorter amount of time. This forces other drivers to yield, brake, and slow down. What is the best part? As fast as the lane changer thinks they’re moving, when we come to a stop, that person is still next to me.

2. The Recruiter: This driver slows down to look at every incident on the road. Worst of all is when the incident happens on the other side of the street! This driver likes drama more than a “drama queen”. When his or her interests peeked somewhere else, their brake lights tend to follow. Thus slowing down the cars behind it and recruiting more cars to slow down.

3. The Hopeful: This driver speeds up for less than a mile, giving me hope that traffic is cleared, then brakes suddenly. Why? I still don’t know how this gap exists in traffic!

4. The Hopeless: This driver likes to drive below the speed limit. I like that this driver is safe, but get out of my way when I am HUNGRY or need to take a TURD! I do not have time for this madness! What’s worse? This driver refuses to move over to a slower lane even when there are 5 cars behind it.

5. The Mathematician: As I drive down a main street I notice a driver pulling out of a Plaza. I can clearly see that there is not much space for the driver to come through but instead of waiting for me to pass, this driver decides to make a turn into my lane. What math formula did you use to calculate that the time it would take for you to fully get into my lane? Let me give you a lesson: Car approaching + limited space = don’t turn or shit might happen. I could’ve hit you! Wait, you could’ve hit me!
