Buy the Jordan 2 day pass and actually enjoy the time there instead of rushing to see everything.
The Monastery is a long walk or an easy donkey ride up ( not for the faint hearted) and is worth every step.
Bargain as much as you can, you are a tourist and everyone is trying to make a bit more cash.
