[Gifting with us] Personalised gift 🎁

Happy New Year!! 🎉 we hope that everyone has had a lovely and safe festive break and we’re able to spend it with their loved ones.

For Christmas, the kids (baby and furbaby) gifted hubby a personalised gift which is what I’ll be showing you today.

For those who know me personally, I’m way beyond the days of chasing after or gifting/receiving luxury goods and instead find meaningful, useful and sentimental gifts to be the best. For this reason, I did not pick out a pricey gift for hubby that’ll be gifted on behalf of the kids and turned to finding a personalised gift that’ll mark a special Christmas.

I hopped on Etsy to find personalised items and settled with this:

It’s a mug with both kids on it. Personally I think it’s really cute and the quality is pretty good and not tacky at all.

So the order was placed through a store called ‘Minted Haus Australia’. I sent in the photos of baby and furbaby and she edited the photos and places a Santa hat on the two of them. Here’s the photo of Taro I’ve sent and was used on the mug:

What amazed me is that I ordered this around 11PM on a Wednesday night and on Friday morning it was already delivered to our front door! Super quick! The person who did the personalisation pretty much contacted me on Thursday morning with a draft of the design for my approval and had it printed and shipped on that same day. Amazing service!

As a bonus, she included some stickers of the boys and personalised Christmas cards with their face on it too! It was so cute and so nice of her to do so!

Hubby said he is cherishing this gift as he likes it and won’t be using it. It’ll be something he would put on display for memory as it’s a one of a kind gift. In his words, it’s “limited edition”.

We also ordered personalised mugs for our friends with their furbabies on them for Christmas. We also gifted mugs to them as their new home will be completed very soon and this was a gift to get them super excited about moving in too. They loved the gift and can’t wait to use them.
