Trying scheduled post on PeakD
New day, new post, I am continuing my streak of posting everyday with this post. I am writing this on the same day I wrote/posted my travel post about crossing the border from Singapore to Johor in Malaysia, link here: @walterjay/waltinasia-15-crossing-the-border-by-train-to-johor-malaysia-from-singapore-fss
I got my weekly author badge from hivebuzz and very happy with it. It was my second one ever.

I haven't been using templates, draft and schedule posts as much as I could have and I realize they could be amazing tools to help me post everyday by doing prepping streaks of posts that just need to be checked and published or just scheduled. When you have a writing spree and inspiration why stop yourself to one post.
I think the strategy of separating write and posting might be good to keep consistency up. I know that a lot of online content creator do that to release article or videos at set time every day/week so their audience get use to it. It isn't what I will be doing but I want to see how I can use this tool for my own posts.
I usually post from the inleo frontend but recently I have been experiencing some bugs and lost a post yesterday which was a bit annoying. Also I had my travel post template over there that I could use for my Waltinadia series but at the moment it is unaccessible.
This is the perfect opportunity to try the peakd platform again and see what changed around here. I usually use peakd for curation and checking community feed because I find it more intuitive here but I didn't post here in a long time.
PeakD and inleo have similar writing interfaces
I have to say both writing interface are very similar, you can save a post or schedule which is what I am trying out. I have tried the scheduling feature before on inleo but it never worked out for me, not a big deal because in the end I was writing and posting at the same time or using draft when this feature was working until recently.
As I write, I notice that the word counter is actually dynamic here on peakd which is helpful if I want to add another paragraph to pass a threshold instead of realizing I might be missing a word or two, again not super important but a nice to have.
I am a big fan of inleo but sad that the frontend isn't working as it used to be, I feel like some basics features are broken now (at least for me using safari as a browser) that used to work well before. I am sure the team is working to fix that but in the mean time I have to find ways to work around that.
So this is me prepping my post for tomorrow (Tuesday 14th if October), hoping the scheduling feature works here and then I can work tomorrow prep a new travel article for the 15th or maybe one about coming to hivefest.
Enjoy your day everyone.
Walt.
PS: this post is scheduled for tomorrow at 10:42 am, I am wondering what timezone is used but I guess mine since I can seen in how many hours it will actually be posted. Hope this works.
