NVO - Cross-platform Modular Decentralized Exchange - Yes Please

The idea of having cryptocurrency assets on an exchange has always been met with a sense of unease.  After all the Mt. Gox debacle was something no one would ever forget as it was a stark reminder that not being in control of our private keys could result in dire consequences.  Therein lies the problem because we must use exchanges in order to transfer fiat into crypto assets.  In other words, if one wants to exchange $$ into cryptocurrency, they will have to send said $$ to an exchange and that exchange holds their private keys. Most intelligent traders/investors will immediately transfer the main portion of their holdings to a hardware wallet but there is always a no man's land grey area where the funds reside in the exchange until that transfer takes place.  Unfortunately, at the end of the day, a breach in security only takes seconds .  What's needed is an exchange that is Not centralized but rather decentralized just like the cryptocurrency its storing.  After all, having a decentralized currency in a centralized exchange defeats the purpose of the whole process and is thus counter productive.
