Our First Block!

We have liftoff!

Producing the first block is not just a technical accomplishment; it symbolizes the hard work, dedication, and collaboration of our entire team along with early node operators who believe in our vision. We can't forget about the intern, though, because none of this would be possible without his expertise (great coffee). Our very first block was produced by Hive account@actifit.vsc node operator yesterday, Apr 6 of 2025, 5:49:00 PM UTC. This first block serves as the cornerstone of the network. It’s the foundation for future transactions and interactions within the VSC ecosystem to be built. It is a testament to our shared commitment to building a scalable, efficient, and truly decentralized ecosystem.

With this first block in place, we are looking ahead to brighter horizons. We are poised to continue building and deploying the first Hive smart contracts. These smart contracts will open up a world of possibilities within the VSC Network, paving the way for groundbreaking applications and seamless user experiences. The possibilities are endless as we continue to develop, refine, and innovate. We are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead and are committed to delivering a seamless experience for all our users. We are committed to delivering a network that empowers users, opens barriers, and connects the blockchain world seamlessly. This is just the beginning, after all.

Keep in mind, we are continuing with tests, pushing updates, and communicating closely with node operators to maintain the stability of the network in the early stages. We’ll keep you all posted, but for now, let's enjoy the fact that we are producing blocks.
