RED POPPIES
By chance i saw some delicate red poppies next to a station with many train tracks. The wind seemed to knock them down.. but they stubbornly resisted.
Over time i saw in England how bouguets and beautiful crowns of red poppies are placed at the monuments dedicated to the heroes who fell in the wars for the defenseof their nation.
Their glory.What a contrast.Poppies , red poppies and iron, red poppies and stone. Like the soldier s soul at first fragile and perhaps fearful and which hardens in battle bocoming iron and stone for a righteous cause.
