Buzau Colti amber is apreciated in the area that is pretected by National Interest in tha Curbura Carpathians.

Practically amber is collected from alluvium of the streams as amn elrmrnt reworked following the processes of alteration and dissaggregation,taking on wonderful colors from yellow golden to reddish brown.In time people seeing the wealth around them amd made the first processing and exploatation workshops.

Many special and beautiful exhibits are exhibited at the Buzau Country Museum in a special room dedicated to amber.Often amber includedin its structure fossils and insects thousands of years ago.Amber has magical and healing properties accordingto legend and acts as aprotective amulet. Of course i also have jewelry amber rings and a particularly bracelet. Maybe it s a illusion but whenever i wear them i have the impression that it gives me strenght , vittality an joy.
