Cikole Forest in West Java
Hello everyone...
It's been a long time since I've been here. I've been busy writing fiction, so Willy Nilly, I've had to put writing on this platform on hold for a while. I mean, I can't write every day because this year I have a goal to finish two drafts of my fiction novels that I've been working on for almost 10 years. Yes, I'm terrible at writing discipline.
Now I want to invite you to take a walk through the Cikole forest, one of my favorite destinations in West Java. What makes me love Cikole is its cool vibe. I wouldn't refuse if I was invited here again. This is one of the places I will always visit. The first time I was here was in 2012, it's been over a decade. Now Cikole is very well managed, making it one of the tourist destinations. I want to go back to camp there, but I think I need a thick jacket. But they say Cikole is not as cold as it used to be.
Cikole has always held a special place in my heart, and so have the pine trees there. I love being under the shade of the pine trees. I used to love hugging pine trees, but now, pine trees are hard to find in Jakarta. This is my favorite sight when I arrive in Cikole: the pine trees, their leaves silhouetted against the sky.
This is the most unique part: an outlet selling handmade crafts like these animal statues. They're beautiful and beautifully crafted. Now I regret not buying them. I think I will buying the owl, next visit.
Besides the animal statues mentioned above, which can be used as souvenirs, there are also plant sellers here with uniquely shaped pots.
What I love about Cikole is the cool weather. Being there doesn't feel like I'm in Jakarta. Understandably, I live in a hot city. Before Jakarta, I lived in Medan, which was just as hot. So when I want to experience the outdoors, I go to Cikole. Hmm, as I write this, I'm craving another trip to a cooler place in Bandung.
Thanks in advance, to read my blog and hope you like my post!
See you on the next post...

Hi, Halo, Annyeong! Welcome to my galaxy.
I have so much imagination in my head. Something that I can't achieve as a human and as a girl. So writing is very challenging. Since Junior High School, I have written whatever I want to write. Without skill, I just write what I want to read. Now I have 12th published novels and all of those are romance.
Yeah, I proudly say that I am a passionate author, traveler wannabe, and blogger.
