No Gas Today

I found this abandoned gas station in what was, basically, and abandoned town. At least on one side of the road. While there was still a bit of business (liquor store / motel combo) there was not much. No post office. Basically old ranch properties for as far as the eye could see.

The price per gallon on the pump said $1.06 and its safe to assume that was the cost of the last gallons pumped here. Which means this gas station probably closed around 1998 or twenty years ago. Take your pick. They say, by 2050 there will be 30% less cars on the road than there are today. I would be 95 then. So, there is that.
