Maximum city needs maximum transportation

A city that drives the business engine of the world's largest democracy deserves better. i am talking about public transport of Mumbai City. Mumbai local trains bear a major load of public transport of the city. Its the lifeline that keeps the city moving and from layman's perspective it is overloaded. Everyday lakhs of people put their life at risk while boarding a busy local. As a fellow passenger, one can see so many fellow citizens are at the receiving end of the brutality of a crowd. The city needs monumental changes in terms of public transport and i am happy that the works have started. I just hope 5 years from now, one can look back at the challenges faced with a false sense of pride but at the same time we commit to better services for citizens.
