ULOG #21: Writer's block
Ah, the scarcity of ideas that flow through your mind when you want to get creative and express yourself. How I despise it.
I haven't written a decent poem in over a month now. Recently, this is all I could come up with (if you would even consider it as progress):
When this kind of thing happens, I don't try to force inspiration. This is an approach also done by some of my favorite musicians such as Mat Zo, Porter Robinson, and Madeon. I devote my time and energy for the meantime towards other meaningful and productive things like cleaning my room, reading my notes in advance, micromanaging my allowance using a calculator and a bunch of other stuff.
How about you? Have you experienced the writer's block before? How do you deal with it? Make sure to let me know in the comments below. :)
Thanks for reading! More to come.
Take care,
Jesse Mar
