HIVE Powerdowns have finally caused the price to come crashing back to reality :-/ Roughly 7-10 days after the last major spike we see some big sellers coming through to capitalize on their major gains recently. That is the nature of markets as there are simply more sellers than buyers right now.

Don't worry! This offers a perfect buying opportunity for the community to keep stacking HIVE at a cheap price. This also means the dollar cost to become a VIP has now dropped dramatically this week from nearly $100 down to just under $65. A minimum of 100 VIP tokens are required to get on the VIP List. This will hold its Hive backed value over time and grow with the NAV of the account based on inflation.

This week we welcome TWO new VIPs to the group :) Hive account@phul and Hive account@mawit07 are the two newest VIP members. We are still only at 16 total VIPs so there is plenty of room for growth before I have to start adjusting votes back down below 100%.

I also freed up more than 240 Hive Power by revoking some unused delegations that I had given out to new accounts. Some of them ended up buying some HIVE and others never posted so I took back the starter HP, which will take a few more days to finish cooling down before it is returned to the account. VIPService is growing at a rate of about 2.6 HP per day with current curation efforts and HP.
