[ENG-ESP] A different birthday | Un cumpleaños diferente

Hello community, last month was my birthday, it was different, but unforgettable. I didn’t celebrate it at home or with my family, because I’m out of my country, but I did live it surrounded by affection. My friends were my most valuable company that night, and with them I shared laughter, music and moments that will remain in my memory.

We chose a bar to celebrate, and since I arrived I felt a special energy, dim lights, good music and that cheerful atmosphere that is contagious. Around the table, every word and every toast reminded me that, although my family was far away, I was not alone. My friends took care of making me feel loved, with small details, hugs and the complicity of those who have become a second family. It was a happy and beautiful birthday, full of mixed emotions: nostalgia for those who were far away, but also immense gratitude for those who were close. That night I understood that birthdays are not measured by places or by what is missing, but by the smiles that surround us and the love we receive.

Hola comunidad este pasado mes fue mi cumpleaños fue diferente, pero inolvidable. No lo celebré en casa ni con mi familia, porque estoy fuera de mi país, pero sí lo viví rodeada de cariño. Mis amistades fueron mi compañía más valiosa aquella noche, y con ellas compartí risas, música y momentos que quedarán en mi memoria.

Elegimos un bar para festejar, y desde que llegué sentí una energía especial luces tenues, buena música y ese ambiente alegre que se contagia. Alrededor de la mesa, cada palabra y cada brindis me recordaban que, aunque mi familia estaba lejos, no estaba sola. Mis amigos se encargaron de hacerme sentir querida, con pequeños detalles, abrazos y la complicidad de quienes han llegado a convertirse en una segunda familia.Fue un cumpleaños feliz y bonito, lleno de emociones encontradas: la nostalgia por quienes estaban lejos, pero también la gratitud inmensa por quienes sí estuvieron cerca. Esa noche entendí que los cumpleaños no se miden por los lugares ni por lo que falte, sino por las sonrisas que nos rodean y el amor que recibimos.
