Procrastination

I know what I need to do,
However, I need to rest,
My tired body can never work,
So to bed I went and slept,
Tomorrow I will act my due.

I know the importance of my work,
But, I also have other tasks,
I need to finish them as well,
They are trivial and unimportant,
Still, I want them to be done.

I know when it must be done,
Yet I have plenty of time,
No need to rush or hurry,
I can take action now,
But I can leave it for later.

I know what is needed,
Because it can only be me,
For I will be the one to do,
The future is where it will be,
Not now, another time, definitely.
