On Changing My Creative Process
"Less is more",
learnt the greedy man,
and then he wanted to have more less.
I made up that quote.
I would like to spend less time staring at screens, so I keep tweaking my creative process, also because I feel there's ways that are more in line with who I really am.
It helps that my ( sister's old ) laptop keeps crashing on me and that the Internet is unstable these days, not unlike the weather, as well as that I wasn't able to upload a video ( on the changes in my creative process and book writing ) to 3Speak yesterday and this morning.
I'll take all of the aforementioned as signs that I should indeed spend less time online, more time offline, outdoors, in nature, etc.
funny enough, that vlog yesterday was filmed outdoors, while walking in nature )
I am typing this on my phone... will probably also start using my recently acquired Raspberry pi more often, from now on, but I need a better screen for that then the old TV that I am using as a temporary solution. The resolution of that screen hurts my eyes quite a lot.
I'll soon tell more about the change in direction in my book writing and ( especially ) my illustrating process. For now, I will say that I plan to turn more towards an analog process that includes carving and ink.
I also decided to start testing this out for the second edition of my first book but am waiting for the tools to arrive.
In other words:
those who are waiting for the second edition of my book ( either a physical copy or E-version ) will need to wait a little longer.
It's gonna be worth the wait though and - more importantly - I feel the process will be way more fun for me.
TO BE CONVINUED...
P.S. The image above today's write up is a ( zoomed in ) picture, taken by me, from my doorstep, when I started this post.
