Auf der BTC Prague hat die Deutsche Telekom beiläufig eine überraschende Ankündigung gemacht. T-Mobile betreibe bereits Bitcoin Nodes und möchte in das Lightning und Mining-Business einsteigen.

Das ist heftig und eine positive Nachricht für Bitcoin. Die Deutsche Telekom ist das größte Telekommunikationsunternehmen in Europa und auch international ein Player.

Zur Gruppe der Deutschen Telekom gehört beispielsweise auch T-Systems, ein IT-Dienstleister und Cloud-Anbieter. In diesem Kontext würde das Betreiben von Bitcoin-Infrastruktur durchaus Sinn für die Telekom machen.
