The hate we give

Tonight, I happened to return home a bit late due to heavy traffic in Port Harcourt/Aba road.

When I reached home, my kids were hanging on the window, peeping outside to see if I was returning.

When I opened the door, they were beaming with smile, asking, "Mummy why did you return late?"
I explained to them that there was traffic on the way and I asked, "Have you people eaten?"

They said no, we were waiting for you.

As I entered inside to undress, this wild imagination came upon me.

What if I went out and never returned alive?
What would become of these ones that depend on me?🤔

And then I thought about some drivers that their cars get impounded on their way to work for wrong parking and I was like, what if their families depended on only them for survival?🤔

And then I thought about the person that is working under you that you have been owing for months without any remorse and I asked, what if his/her family depends on him/her for survival?🤔

And I thought of your colleagues in the office that you are playing office politics for them to get sacked and I asked, what if they are the breadwinners of their families and what happens if they are sacked?🤔

And then I thought about the person you are planning for his/her death and I asked, what if there are so many people depending on him/her for survival?🤔

And then I thought of the cockroaches we kill in our kitchen and I was like, what if they were the mothers, going out in search of food for the babies? 🤔

And I thought about the flies and other animals we kill. What if they were breastfeeding or nursing mothers🤔?

And then I thought about those wrongly accused and jailed and I was like, what if their families hoped so much on them and depended on them for their survival?🤔

And I asked myself, but can't we survive without harming one another?🤔

And I simply went on my knees and cried to God that every source of any family shouldn't be cut off.

There is a thousand reason to love one another God is love and the people he created should follow his footsteps then the universe will be a better place for everyone.

For the fact that you've read this knowledgeable and God sent scripture, i wish you blessed and you and your family shall not be harm in Jesus name i pray Amen and Amen.
