DRAWING OF A 3D BALL

Hello beautiful hive community,i am here today with a step by step drawing of a simple 3d ball.
This is actually my first time drawing anything 3d,so what better way to start than a simple ball. So below is my step by step drawing of a 3d ball.
NB:I used a digital art app called MEDIBANG for this art design.
Firstly, i drew a simple circle with a default circle pen,

Then filled in the circle with a colour filler.

i added shadow,opposite to where i imagined the sun to be.

then,i added my highlight and blended everything together.

Lastly i placed a shadow underneath the ball assuming the ball is on a flat surface.
