Solution to Hardship and sufferings//Mcgi Topic Review ( part 1)

Life is filled with challenges, trials, and moments of pain. According to the teachings of Bro. Eli Soriano, suffering becomes beneficial when it comes from God, for God never allows anything without a righteous purpose. While some hardships are caused by the selfish actions of people driven by greed and worldly desires, there are sufferings that God permits to strengthen and refine His children.

When we encounter difficulties that are not the result of human wickedness, we can find peace in knowing that God may be using those experiences for our spiritual growth. What appears painful today may be part of God's greater plan for our future.

The Apostle Paul wrote:

“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”
Romans 8:18

This verse assures believers that present hardships are temporary, while the glory that God has prepared is eternal and far greater than any suffering we may experience. No trial can compare to the blessings God has promised to those who remain faithful.

The Scriptures also teach:

“And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience.”
—Romans 5:3

“And patience, experience; and experience, hope.”
Romans 5:4

These passages show the beautiful process through which God works in our lives. Tribulations develop patience, patience produces proven character, and character nurtures hope. This hope is not empty or uncertain; it is founded on God's love and faithfulness.

Therefore, instead of losing heart during difficult times, let us trust that God is working behind the scenes. Every trial He allows carries a purpose, and every challenge can lead us closer to Him. Through faith, endurance, and obedience, suffering can become a source of strength, wisdom, and spiritual maturity.

Conclusion

God's plans are always for our ultimate good. Even when we do not immediately understand the reason for our suffering, we can remain confident that He is guiding us toward something greater. Let us continue to trust in His wisdom, knowing that the glory ahead is far more valuable than the trials we face today.
