Una experiencia vital/A vital experience

Hace un par de días ha sido mi cumpleaños. Podría ser uno más de no ser por un incidente que dos días antes casi me impide celebrarlo. Cenando en una terraza en un restaurante en León casi me ahogo consecuencia de un atragantamiento. Afortunadamente Aníbal, que casi nunca quiere salir en ninguna foto, me practicó la maniobra de Heimlich por dos veces y funcionó. Después nos fuimos al Ágora como si nada, pero vi cerca la muerte, no voy a negarlo. Y además de pensar lo importante que es conocer técnicas de primeros auxilios pensé también lo importante que es tener a nuestro lado a las personas adecuadas. No hace falta que sean muchas.

Te quiero Aníbal y gracias por salvarme la vida.

A couple of days ago it was my birthday. It could be one more if it weren't for an incident that two days before almost prevented me from celebrating. Dining on a terrace in a restaurant in León, I almost drowned as a result of a choking. Fortunately Hannibal, who almost never wants to be in any photo, practiced the Heimlich maneuver on me twice and it worked. Then we went to the Agora as if nothing, but I saw death close, I will not deny it. And besides thinking about how important it is to know first aid techniques, I also thought about how important it is to have the right people by our side. It doesn't have to be many.
