Finally, Windows XP support from Windows-based POSReady 2009 has been removed. POSReady 2009, an instant payment method on its name, was one of the areas where XP was still in use.
With this decision, Windows Embedded has been modified to make Windows XP updated. Windows 7 and Windows 8.x are currently on sale and users will have to migrate to Windows 10.
