How I created this shadowy photography effect on Halloween with just my phone’s selfie cam

So i was just returning from a bank on Halloween and i saw these amazing cloud formations and next i got the photographer’s instincts, “I could create a masterpiece with these clouds I thought”
So since there was no one to help bring out the image i had already existing in my head, I decided to do it with my phone’s selfie cam.

My Tripod Stand
I rested my phone by the base of a street-side electricity pole and adjusted it and the camera settings,

Adjustments and what i had in view
I made sure it was well rested in a way that could capture me in a tilted angle from my waist to my head with my arms well in view,
I made sure the clouds were well in view and as my background,
I had the surrounding buildings also as a background but half of it, to like balance it up
And i sorta placed my self at the side of the screen, using the rule of thirds

Camera settings
I didnt do much camera setting though
I just first of all made sure i wasnt shooting in a potrait mode, i didn’t want any depth of field or blur cause that would ruin the aim of the clouds
Then next I made sure i was in focus,
Then i locked the focus making me the object
Then i reduced the brightness drastically to a point where i almost appeared as just a shadowy figure
Then since it was just me i had to set my camera to a 10 seconds timer as that would give me sorta enough time to strike a serious pose

And the results…

Tried a lotta times though, but at last
It came out as close to perfect as possible,, at least i once again recreated what I had in my head and brought it to life.
