Double Shots Banned in the UK!

It's a shame that my first post as a Moderator is about this but here goes...

This is just a super quick and short post to make those who weren't already aware that, Double shots of coffee are to be banned in the UK!!

From what I have heard, Double Shots of Espresso are soon to be classified as a Class C Prohibited Substance.. On the same lines as the possession of Marijuana.

Research suggests that Consumers are unknowingly altering their state of consciousness through drinking large cups of coffee in which they are unaware of the exact quantity of Caffeine.

Therefore the Ban will apply to all Coffee outlets and will prevent them from serving anything higher than a single shot per cup.

Looks like we can say bye bye to The Grandes and Ventes, and hello to the Espressos and Cortados.

There has been no mention of the repercussions of ordering an extra shot and putting it into the drink yourself.

There has also not been any thought into how they intend on Policing this new rule.

In fact, there doesn't seem to be a lot of thought that has gone into this at all...

Almost as if I'm just making this whole thing up as I go along!
