Deer and Misty Mountains
These are our friendly White-tailed Deer. Around our rural place they've become known to drink from our birdbath. Last year, as the picture shows, we even placed a bucket of water for them to drink from so they wouldn't take all of it from the birds! This fawn is cheerfully with it's mother.
Ah yes! the Misty Mountains. Did I tell you I got this shot from Middle Earth? For those who don't get the joke, the Misty Mountains is in a fictional land called Middle Earth in the Lord of the Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien. Anyone like the books or movies?
This is when the mountains have no snow on them.
