Taking Up Golf As A Hobby

Last year, I decided to take up golf as a new hobby and let me tell you, it has been a wild ride so far! I've always thought that golf is an easy and boring sport, but boy, was I so wrong. With the easing of COVID-19 restrictions last year, I finally had the opportunity to pick up a club and give it a go. And I am glad I did!

I now know that golf is a sport that is challenging, but also incredibly rewarding. It's a game of patience, strategy, and precision, and it's been a lot of fun learning. I took one lesson from a pro to learn the basics. He's shown me how to properly hold the club, how to aim, and how to swing. After that, I have been watching a lot of videos on YouTube and Instagram to learn further. It's been a lot of work, but I'm starting to see some improvement in my swing, and that's a great feeling.

The best part about golf is that it's a sport that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and skill levels. It's a great way to spend time with friends and family, and it's also a great way to get some exercise. I've been out hitting balls at the range with @aaronleang, @joannewong and @awesomianist a few times now, and I've had a blast. The feeling of hitting a ball perfectly and watching it soar through the air is truly satisfying.
