What does the bible say about names?
There are lots of things that is happening and more than what people used to identify us. They announced us.
In Genesis, the Bible said that whatever Adam called the animal, that's what they answered. Adam was privileged to give animals different names. Names play major in our destiny. People don't know. This is why one of the physicians makes a child that when they are instantly born is to give the child a name.
It's also the reason why God had to change the name of Abraham to Abraham and John to Jacob, Jacob to Israel. We have to change these names of this man. And this gives us a new beginning in their lives and the experience changes beyond just name, but beyond their life and destiny.
Our life are meant to be shaped according to the purpose, not just by chance. That's it. With destiny and purpose for us. Names should not be based on how beautiful or pleasant the sounds in our ears, but based on the meaning behind what is in them.
