Is religion needed for Salvation? | The Old Path
There is always a right time to seek God. Sadly, many people wait until the darkness of life surrounds them before they consider turning to Him. When they find themselves facing the painful consequences of poor choices, they finally call out — but often when it feels too late. We don't have to wait until life breaks us to turn to Him. His arms are always open to offer forgiveness, peace and purpose.
Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God
But the good news is that if you hear the gospel today and respond with a repentant heart, inviting Jesus into your life, He will come in and make your heart His home. But if you harden your heart and persist in sin, rejecting God's grace, the Bible is clear —eternity apart from Him awaits. That's why Isaiah urgently pleads in the passage below:
Isaiah 55:6 - Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
God's Word never fails. If you respond sincerely to His call, He will respond with mercy and blessings. Jesus Christ Himself encourages us with the promise in Matthew 7:7 that if we ask it will be given unto us. These are not empty words—this is a promise from the One who cannot lie.
