Exploring New Hobbies
Hello, Hi, Radhe-Radhe everyone!
I’m Uma Joshi, posting here after a long time. I’ve been a bit busy—or maybe I just wasn’t sure what to post.
Recently, I’ve started doing something new—something very different for me. Honestly, I didn’t enjoy it at first, but now I’m slowly learning to love it. Instead of spending my free time scrolling endlessly, I’ve decided to use it to learn something meaningful.
As I mentioned in my introduction post, I’m a developer. I usually don’t get much time to try out new hobbies, and to be honest, I was never really interested in picking up any.
But lately… I’ve started learning to draw. ✍️
Here are a few sketches I’ve made—not perfect, just small doodles. But I'm enjoying the process!
✨ Sketch 1:
This sketch shows a boy and a girl looking deeply into each other’s eyes—with hope and love. 💙
I think it’s beautiful to have someone beside you who protects and cares for you.
What I feel from this sketch is that they’re telling each other:
“I see you, I care about you, and you matter to me.” ❤️
✨ Sketch 2:
I made these sketches by referencing images I found on Pinterest. There are so many more I’d love to draw in the future. Slowly but surely, I’m learning.
📚 Recently Read Books:
I’ve also recently started reading again. Just finished Musafir Café by Divya Prakash Dubey.
Before that, I read Gunahon Ka Devta by Dharamveer Bharti and The Power of Your Subconscious Mind.
Some other books I’ve read earlier include Rich Dad Poor Dad and The Psychology of Money.
But this is the first time I’ve read Hindi novels—and honestly, I’m really enjoying them.
I feel that books teach you a lot—sometimes things that life would take years to teach.
That’s all for now! If you liked my post, feel free to drop a comment or share your thoughts.
See you soon with more sketches and book updates! 😊
