Known and Unknown

I am known with no theatrics
Simply for my sign
I am created unrefined
It is up to me to sharpen
My quality and define
What it means to live here
To step out of the grind

I am known to other adepts
In full past my own range
They expect a greatness
I don't always equate

My limited perspective
From inside this shell
Less and less convinces me
To act as anything but well

I am known throughout time
Recognized in all ways
Meeting the familiar
In newness through these lines
Tethered to my heart depth
My lineage and design

Creation simply facets
Lives in disarray
Knowing as it knows me
I am bound to pull it off
In some unusual way.
