DONE WITH THE DECEITS

you never cease to amaze me
always up to one thing or the other
now I can't put my trust in you in order
you've been concealing your secrets
now the cover is blown
where do we go from here now ?
so much deceits scattered all over the place
now I can't even look you in the face
with your timid eyes you make your heart rocky
I wonder how you do it

my instincts have been right all along
at first I thought it was my mind playing games
now I just got my heart mamed
convincing my inner man I'm not wrong
while all along he has been yelling
"this lass is playing you like a ping pong"
now my heart is in my mouth
I barely can say anything
more like you got me a mute tongue

this hurts in all shades and colors
never ever have I thought it would end this way
at least not this soon
now I've just got to lock in
ignore all feelings
and suddenly act numb to your presence
even when is more like your absence

This too shall pass
If I'll ever do this again ,
I'm quite not certain
