"A sangoma is a practitioner of herbal medicine, divination and counseling in traditional Nguni (Zulu, Xhosa, Ndebele and Swazi) societies of Southern Africa (effectively an African shaman)."

"I lead my first sweat-lodge ceremony with a sangoma in Johannesburg, South Africa in 2009. He was originally from South America. I was also fortunate enough to have been invited to a man's sangoma initiation. The goat liver was pretty tasty. I was also invited to a drum circle that an elder Zulu sangoma was doing a healing on a young Zulu girl at. After the young men came out and danced with small shells from their knees down to their ankles. It was so much fun playing drums with all the dancers." ~Four Eagles

I find it interesting that most sangoma are women.

Not surprising as tribal culture is concerned.

Healing through Spirit and the seemingly endless possibilities in this regard have barely been tapped into. There must be way more to consciousness and frequency than has yet to be discovered or rediscovered.

"Long before the Sumerians or Egyptians saw the light of day, an advanced civilisation of humans lived in Southern Africa, mining gold. They left behind more than 10 million stone circle ruins all connected to each other, that make up the largest cluster of stone ruins found anywhere on Earth to date. Their tools and artefacts indicate that they had a deep understanding of sound and resonance and used sound to power their tools and also as a source of energy. They carved the first statue of Horus, the first Sphinx, built the first Pyramids and built an accurate stone calendar right in the heart of it all. Adam’s Calendar is the flagship amongst millions of circular stone ruins, ancient channels, agricultural terraces and thousands of ancient mines, mysterious tools and artefacts, left behind by the ANUNNAKI and a mysterious vanished civilisation." ~ http://michaeltellinger.com/
