Mindful Monday - Torn Between 2 Lovers

Happy Monday!!

I wasn't sure if I was going to post today. There is so much going on in the worlds and our little corner of it has quite literally is now split in two. New and exciting to say the least.

As everyone has run to their computers trying to stay on top of the news, the hard fork and what have you, I managed to stay away. I honestly don't know what to think except to keep life as status quo as possible.

I don't want to think that all of my effort on the Steem blockchain has been for nothing. I don't like the idea of losing my investment. Granted my investment is time and energy and not that of a monetary one, but it is still there. Do we cash out and head to new horizons or try to walk between 2 worlds or call it a day?

I personally don't like the way that things have already been censored. It goes completely against a decentralized platform. I guess one of the main issues many of us have is, Why? If you aren't going to improve or expand to grow your investment Why? To what purpose? I guess these are the questions we need to stay away from? This is the kind of stuff that will drive us crazy.

As for the 'split' not sure. While a hive mind had it's advantages it has it's disadvantages. I truly hope we can stay away from Twitter and Facebook mentalities as well from the bullying tactics of late on the platform. Not sure why others feel it necessary to bend others to their will when there is a disagreement. I fully believe we're all entitled to our opinions and feelings. I am always open to discussion, but to brow beat someone into your way of thinking I do feel is wrong.

Not sure how things are going to proceed, but that's how life is, isn't it? We don't know anything for certain. All we can do is keep moving forward.
