No More Bluesky for Me

It seems that the online protection thing that is spreading where ID must be provided to use a platform has hit Bluesky. At least in my area.

I am in the southern United States, not Mississippi but it seems my data is being processed through that state. This affects me because they apparently have laws there requiring ID to access Bluesky now.

I am posting this here because I was active on Bluesky in relation to helping spread the word about Hive.blog. I can no longer be active in that regard at all.

I have no problem providing my ID to access certain websites (not like my IP doesn’t already know where I go online). It is just sad to see a site I was slowly expanding on have to go this route and block users in my area.

For now, I must say goodbye to Bluesky as there is no option provided for me to continue using it.
