Sign this! Henry Cavill is leaving the show due to disagreements with the writing staff, who do not want to keep with the source material of Andrzej Sapkowski's book series. If you know me, you know how much I value intellectual property rights and remaining true to source material. Look no further than seasons 7 and 8 of Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, or the dumpsterfire that was the remake of Pet Semetary to see what happens when hollywood strays from the author's work.
For people interested in more info: Henry is an avid Witcher fan of both the books and the games (which stick to the books incredibly), and is one of the most knowledgeable people on set. He fought the writers, who were not only attempting to veer from source matter but also mocked Sapkowski, the series author. He has decided to leave, citing creative differences.
This petition calls for reinstating Cavill and firing the aforementioned writers. Keep people accountable.
