Hello Steemit People!

I'll have to be honest with you all: I've never heard of this place before last week. So I'm still figuring out the layout and all that jazz, but I'm super excited to be here!

As far as I can tell, there are a lot of photographers, artists, musicians, videographers already here, which always makes for a good time. I'm so happy to see original content from all over the world find a home on this website for others to see and even fund. What a great idea for new creators to grow and hone their respective crafts, all while getting thoughtful and constructive input from their peers, instead of the usual "+1 for OC" like on Reddit/imgur/elsewhere.

What you can expect from me:

General blogging about my life, usually something surrounding: cars, photography, comedy, the occasional movie, or political discussion that I would love to hear more input on.

I live in Alexandria, Virginia with my awesome wife, and also our cat: Kudos. We frequently end up in D.C. and the surrounding areas with some regularity, as well as Colorado, where we are both from.

Entering our 30s hasn't been exactly "fun" but we're handling it with a respectable degree of grace, tequila, and tears.

I'm looking forward to seeing all of your amazing posts, and hopefully figuring out a better way forward for not only my country, but the world as a whole. I think this would be a great place to start!
