Tile Explorer is a mahjong solitaire-style match-3 game, where you have to clear the entire board of pieces by creating combinations of three identical tiles. As usual in this type of game, much of the difficulty lies in the fact that many of the tiles are under other tiles that you have to remove first, so you need to be strategic with your moves.

One feature that not all Tile Explorer players know is that you can change the design of the tiles in the Settings. The game tiles depict elements such as strawberries, cherries, bananas and mushrooms by default, but you can choose from five different tile sets. There is one with a Christmas theme, another with an Asian aesthetic, another with only flowers, and there is also a poker style one. Playing with the latter, however, is much more difficult since it is harder to distinguish the tiles from one another.

Tile Explorer has more than 1000 levels, all of which are divided into several chapters, with each one pertaining to a country. The first 12 levels take place in France, where you'll discover some interesting facts about the country. The next levels will take you to Argentina, after which you can go to Sweden, the United States, Italy, Portugal, Spain or Brazil. For each country, you'll find around 60 levels that will increase in difficulty.
