I love how often you can travel the same route and still find something new you've never seen before. Case in point was this little hidden island of calm in the middle of three large roads crossing around it. I cycle past that place at least three times a week, but you can not really see it from anywhere so for a long time I misssed this.

It takes a detour and a sketchy tunnel that seems to serve no purpose to even get there, but once you make it you are presented with a pretty cool little spot.

It's only fitting that I used a telescopic baton to hold my bike for this shot, the place sure seems like you might need one.

What I loved most about the area was how many cool photo opportunities it had for such a secluded and small space.
