Description from Strava: You wake up feeling like you could take on the world, and by mid-morning you feel as though the world has almost swallowed you whole and you haven’t managed to do what you’d planned...
To top it all off, lunch was left half-done, and I had to resort to the wood-burning stove… I thought: my day’s already gone pear-shaped. 😂 And things went from bad to worse when the croquettes I’d put in to fry burnt. But anyway… It’s great just to breathe. I ate the croquettes as they were, burnt on one side. And I managed to book a bike delivery. At least that… One delivery and the chance of another first thing tomorrow morning. It’s not so bad, is it?
And now it turns out they’ve turned the electricity back on. My question is this: will it last all night? Will I be able to get some rest with the cool breeze from the fan or the air conditioning? Back in the day, when things were still ‘normal’, I’d always end up switching off the air con before 4 am because I felt cold.
So what do you recommend I should do now? Should I prepare tomorrow’s lunch? 😂 Oh, it’s so stressful.
Anyway, I got the delivery done in a flash.
