Will HIVE notch record weekly and monthly closes?

The price action on HIVE has been really interesting over the past 24 hours or so.

We've been getting these 70% super surges which then slowly retrace almost back to the origin:

The range has been contracting steadily since the last structural surge and I'm expecting another surge of similar magnitude soon, taking us towards the 50c mark:

These surges are great to trade and I've been scaling in since the last one, but what I'd really like to see is a shallower retrace when we next move higher - if we're only moving 5c higher on each peak, it will be a long road to a dollar and beyond.

Bigger Picture

Tomorrow is the first day of a new week and also the first day of a new month so we are likely going to see some important and potentially trend-defining price action over the next 24 hours.

The weekly and monthly charts were looking great intrabar last night - if we finish today around yesterday's highs or better, we'll be looking at both record weekly and record monthly closes, opening up the path to record highs and likely stirring further external buying pressure:
